Exactly 365 days from the release of the Mi 11, Xiaomi launched the successor Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro on December 28th in China. The company has now begun teasing its next global product announcement without providing details on when they will be available elsewhere.
The Xiaomi series flagships are powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro feature DisplayMate A+ OLED displays and powerful imaging capabilities as they make their way to international markets in 2022.
Both devices are equipped with LPDDR5 RAM, which supports up to 6400Mbps transfer rate. Xiaomi 12 features a Sony IMX766 main camera with a 1/1.56″ sensor size, a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 5MP telemacro camera. The Pro features a state-of-the-art triple camera array, each of which is 50MP.
