Samsung Odyssey G9 Gaming monitor is on sale right now. The price for $999 on Amazon down $400 from its original $1399 price tag. The 49 inch 5120^1440 monitor comes with the fast refresh rate of 240 Hz, 1ms response time and supports both G sync and Free sync 2. It is noted that in review of Odyssey G9, the curved monitor offers an immersive gaming experience stretching around entire field of vision as you game.
It features game to full potential with this 49 inch Samsung Odyssey dual QHD gaming monitor. 1ms response time minimizes motion blur and ghosting for the sharp details with the NVIDIA G sync and AMD Free Sync technology eliminate input lag for fast paced game play. This monitor is Infinity core lighting to complement the gaming set up and the QLED technology ensures accurate colour reproduction for immersive viewing.
It produces the incredibly vivid colours, with having QLED display and emits 1000 nits of brightness. Samsung debuted the upgraded version of this display in July and it is called Odyssey Neo G9 Monitor. Like the Standard Odyssey G9 and it is also 49 inch curved monitor with mostly the same specifications. Main difference is that, Odyssey G9 Neo has mini LED backlit panel that produces 2000 nits of brightness.
The technology website The Verge, is currently trying out this monitor and they are constantly trying out this monitor and finding that it may not be worth its hefty $2499 price tag due to various issue they are seeing. As for much cheaper, $999 Odyssey G9 there are not any details on how long the deal will last on company Amazon. It can speculate that it is an early Black Friday promotion so it may not be around too much longer.
