NZXT has introduced, the interesting pre built Personal computers for the age of the graphics card shortage on that is powered by the Ryzen 5600 G. The CPU with the built in GPU that can reasonably be used for gaming. In normal circumstances, NZXT $800 Foundation PC might not be the first pick for those looking to get into PC Gaming. The low availability and inflated prices of dedicated GPUs, make it an interesting option for budget mined buyers.
AMD processor graphics card combination is the centerpiece of the built, but it’s other specs are also respectable. It comes with 500 GB NVMe SSD and 16 GB of RAM. Having the dedicated GPU would be preferable for almost any gaming scenario that is the most vendors include one even the GTX 1650 included with the lowest end HP Omen can outperform the 5600G’s graphics.
The users are adventurous and know what to look for, they could potentially find a decent deal by buying one of those scalper leftovers. Users can’t separate the 5600 G graphics card and sell it for the markup the foundation may not e as enticing to scalpers potentially preventing it from winding up constantly out of stock, like many of NZXTs other pre built.
Manufactures of the PC can at least mitigate concerns of scalpers snapping up, their pre-built, by giving base models low end GPUs and that are not particularly desirable. iBuy power AMDs Ryzen 3rd Gen starter PC for instance comes stock with Ryzen 3600 and the Nvidia GTX 1030.
If the 5600 Gs relative uselessness to scalpers, helps NZXT keeps the Foundation in stock and it could be a good choice for those who don’t want to built their own PC but who would be comfortable slotting in graphics cards, at some point in the future when they are more readily attainable again.
Might be possible it could inspire other vendors while some will currently let you equip the 5600G, alongside an external graphics card that configuration likely won’t be worth fighting scalpers for.
