Heart Machine, manufacturers of the approved, stylish, efficient, and difficult 2D action RPG Hyper Light Drifter have declared the latest game set in a similar universe: Hyper Light Breaker.
Accessible through Steam Early Access sometime in the spring upcoming year of 2023, Hyper Light Breaker is a 3D title with co-op modes and single players. Following the Steam page of the game, players would:
Go into the Overgrowth, the latest land in the universe of Hyper Light. Play lonely or with friends for discovering enormous biomes, conquer and beat brutal monsters, make new builds, get through the hidden Crowns and bring down the almighty Abyss King in this action rogue-lite adventure and quest from the makers of the Hyper Light Drifter.
The trailer of declaration only depicts a few looks of pre-alpha gameplay after an animated and enthusiastic scene of fighting that matches the balletic action style of the authentic Hyper Light Drifter. Screenshots display some distinctive biomes, pictures of combat, and the chief character tearing around over the hoverboard. The card of the title also depicts some of the unique character silhouettes — now different choices for the co-op mode of the game.
Heart Machine is not explaining this sequence and follows up explicitly, and there is no kind of clear symptom and demonstration of what the story would seem like. This is not the first foray into 3D of the studio, though: which will be the Solar Ash of the previous year. Admirers of it will no doubt be aspiring that the team to master and absorb the lessons of that title, which suggested some remarkable movement mechanics however were disappointed and abandoned by the sterile world-building.
Publishing of Gearbox is working with Heart Machine for publishing the Hyper Light Breaker. The game would be accessible on Personal Computers, with no other platforms cited in the declaration.
