More smartphone consumers opted for higher-end premium smartphones in the previous year, new figures are depicting.
The global merchandise for smartphones with a wholesale cost of around $400 increased by 24% from the last year 2021, surpassing in speed the growth of at least 7% in the whole of the sales of smartphones, following the market pulse service of Counterpoint Research. As an amount of the overall merchandise, the premium part is considered for a record sales of around 27%.
