The IT8 looks as if one of the many Intel NUC minis pcs that have seemed over the past decade. At 117 x 112 x 48mm, it’s miles nearly the dimensions of the NUC 11 overall performance Mini PC, so much so you’d be mistaken from afar ed: makes us happy if they percentage some common DNA.
Geekdom’s mini computer surprises via its heft; it feels and looks heavy (it weighs nearly 600g). The top is a product of smooth plastic, so liable to greasy fingerprints and hairline marks. The rest of the body is solid steel with two grills on the side to help with airflow (and cooling the 28W CPU inner).
Despite its very dense appearance, the IT8 packs almost a dozen ports and connectors: three USB 3.2 Gen2 kind A ports, USB kind-C connectors, one Gigabit Ethernet port, one headphone jack, an SD card slot, an HDMI connector, and a mini/small DP one. The strength connector is a barrel-kind version and, is powered by a 90W (19v,4.74A) brick-type strength supply unit.

Overall performance and in use

Aside from the VESA mount, the mini laptop additionally has a spare 2.5-inch SATA bay which can accommodate like-minded SSD and HDD. As expected, no bloatware would hamper performance at startup.
When it got here to tests, the IT8 held its own against more recent competition just like the center i5-10210U with Geekbench ratings that location it just behind the latter. As a computer or a business pc, its overall performance may be more than good enough thanks to its higher-than-common storage subsystem speeds (it reached 2.7GBps/2.9GBps in the ATTO benchmark). Its fan didn’t run too loud even under load, and it wasn’t too hot to the touch as well.
