The official exit from Facebook continued when Stan Chudnovsky, the company’s head of the company’s messenger, announced that he was leaving in 2022.
Facebook, now called META, is facing a wave of top executives leaving their year. The company is facing further regulatory scrutiny and a major public relations challenge following the release of internal documents and media reports showing how much Facebook is aware of the damage caused by its services. Deborah Liu, former head of the Facebook market, left in February to become CEO of Ancestry.com. David Fischer, a former chief financial officer, announced his departure in March, as did Kevin Weil, one of the founders of Facebook Novi crypto currency division.
Former marketing chief, Carolyn Everson, announced he was leaving in June and later attended the INSTACART grocery delivery program as president. FIDJI SIMO, former head of the Facebook app, became CEO of Instacart after leaving Facebook in July.
Mark D’Arcy has resigned as CEO Mike Schroepfer has said he will leave the company. In November, David Marcus, head of Facebook for crypto currency efforts and former head of messenger, announced his upcoming departure at the end of the year. Earlier, Facebook head of business communications Julien Codorniou announced that he had left the company to go into business.

The announcement of Chudnovsky’s departure comes a week after Marcus, both of whom came to work as ambassadors after working together at PayPal. The two get along well, according to one former Facebook official.
Chudnovsky took over the reins from Marcus in May 2018. She joined FACEBOOK in 2015 as head of the messenger unit product. Chudnovsky has said it will remain on Facebook until the second quarter of 2022.
