The Apple M1 chips revolutionized its Macs with the Seismic leap in performance and the battery life. The company is preparing the high end version of this chip to take things to the next level. This chip could help cement the Apple computers as the laptops and desktops to beat. This chip is expected to be revealed inside the new Mac Book Pro 14, and is updated Mac Book Pro 16. The Apple M1X might not be actually be the reigning chip champ for long.
It is because Apple is working on its next generation chip and the 4 nm M2 it is expected to be unveiled in mid to late 2022 in the new MacBook air. The 4 nm process should help it outside the M1X which is expected to use the same 5 nm process as the M1. As price that is dictated by the devices the M1X finds itself inside.

SPECS AND PERFORMANCE
The Apple M1X is going to perform better than M1. It offers up to 8 high performance cores and 2 high efficiency cores with 16 graphics core. The Jade C chop and the Jade Die could be chips that are going into the Mac Book Pro 14 and Pro 16 respectively.
There is also expectation of Apple to update and improve the Neural Engine on the M1X and this part of chip handles the machine learning tasks. Apple has increasingly dedicated its attention and resources in recent years. The M1X will supports up to three displays and also rumors that the M1X comes 12 CPU cores not 10.
BATTERY
The M1X Pro 13 hit well over 16 hours of light web browsing and 21 hours of video playback. Meanwhile it managed 15.5 hours and 18.5 hours in the same tests. The company have no hurry to improve the battery life, while the company is focusing its efforts on performance. The M1X gets the 8 by 2 split between high performance and high efficiency cores and it is very different ratio and it stacked much more in favor of the high performance cores.
