Over the last few years, the technology industry sure has put a lot of hype behind descriptors like max. The Amazon announced the $54.99 Fire TB stick 4K Max last month. There is nothing to do with the physical design, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is visually indistinguishable from the existing Fire TV Stick 4K.
There is core video and audio streaming features despite the older model often being discounted. The MAX is actually about the smaller things. New stick is 40 percent more powerful than the standard version that results in the apps launching faster and the navigation that feels noticeably more fluid and free of stutters or lag. The more RAM inside so users have to wait for the Apps to completely reload as often.
SPECS & FEATURES

This TV having the improved performance compared to Fire TV stick 4K having the Wi-Fi 6 for more reliable streaming with large app selection covers all the essentials. The Amazon unfortunately did not see fit to upgrade to USB C for the plug in power and this device retains the Micro USB on its side.
The company bundles the latest version of its Alexa voice remote with the new streaming click. There are also TV controls for Power and volume, and the users will find 4 branded shortcuts for the Prime video, Netflix, Disney plus and Hulu.
Amazon remains heavy handed with banner ads on the home screen, and it still too in your face when promoting its own content. But it is possible to install a different launcher or set up Pi-hole to block some of the advertising but the step is most consumers will never take. But this is just something users got to put up with if they want a very capable 4K streaming device for under $60. The more expensive Apple TV 4K or NVIDIA shield would be wiser choices.
